TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Hello all you great people out there! THANK YOU so much for checking our site out! Here are some terms and conditions for your reading pleasure! YOUR satisfaction is our success! If our service and merchandise makes you happy then we've done our job! If not, then we're not happy either. Here you'll find our terms and conditions and what happens when you order

SHIPPING TIME

Most orders will ship in 48 hours or less. Inventory sell-outs, the mad holiday rush, last minute concerts, etc can mean orders will take a little longer to process. It is extremely rare that an order takes longer than 2 weeks to ship. However for purposes of these terms and conditions, we need to say that it MAY take up to 30 days to get to you. If you need to receive your order by a specific date, YOU MUST NOTIFY US! Please put it on the order itself and also follow up with a separate email. Know that if you need expedited means of delivery other than standard UPS, that additional charge will be yours. If we cannot meet your date, we will notify you.

REFUSED SHIPPING  CHARGES

PLEASE make sure that you want your order BEFORE ordering and if USING A FRIEND OR FAMILY'S MEMBERS CARD tell them beforehand because once shipped, all shipping charges (to and from) are non-refundable unless we messed up the address or items!

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

If for ANY reason you are not pleased with your item(s), we will take it/them back within 15 days of the date you RECEIVED the order. We will either exchange the item, give you store credit, or refund your money, whichever you prefer. Again, the 15 days begins the day that you receive the order. And we do stick to this policy. If you just so happen to go on vacation for 6 weeks the day after you get the item, good for you, but we still will not refund your money! We will not refund any shipping expense UNLESS any of us at SlashnBurn messed up. And in that case, we will reimburse you for the shipping to and from. You do not need any direct authorization from us to return an item. In your package you will receive a return form. Simply fill it out and send it back to the address on the return slip. In case you did not get a return form sent to you, this is what you need to do: Wrap the item(s) up and get them into a nice secure box. Take it to your shipper of choice and for your own benefit, insure it and request a delivery confirmation. This may cost you an extra buck or so, but it'll be worth it to you if it gets lost! Then write a note telling us your full name, address, phone number, email address, what you're returning and why and most importantly what you want us to do! If you want an exchange, please tell us what the item is and the size/color. All shoes and boots that are returned to us for a refund are subject for a 15% re-stocking fee. This does not apply to shoe/boot exchanges.

**No questions asked!? You will NOT receive any hassle from us AS LONG AS your return is postmarked within 15 days of receiving it (we know when you get it, so don't try to be tricky!) and as long as it is in ORIGINAL condition. And it's sad to even have to say this, but original condition means: shoes AND shoe box in original condition, garment tags must still be intact, no deodorant stains, animal hair, colognes, perfumes, lotions, body grease, makeup, bodily excretions, cigarette smoke or foul smells must emit from the pristine package you initially received! And, please do not wash it and expect a refund, we've been at this a long time and we know what a new one looks like.**

 

HOLIDAY RETURNS - All Gift Items purchased between 11/25 and 12/21 have an extended return period but must be Postmarked by Jan. 1st,  and Are EXCHANGE / IN STORE CREDIT ONLY. Otherwise our normal return policy applies to all items purchased during that period.

 

MONEY ORDERS

Send your MONEY ORDER along with a copy of your order (printed right off the site or make your own) to: Slash 'N Burn Web Sales 941 West 3rd, Eugene, OR 97402 USA When you place a mail order through the site, you will receive a confirmation email. We will not hold items for you while we wait for your mail order. So please get it in to us QUICK! Our system is derived from an inventory database, however it is ALWAYS 'prudent' to email us first to see if we have it in stock. **Note, your order will not ship until your money order clears at the bank, which may take up to 7-10 BUSINESS days after we receive it. So please don't send us nasty emails a week after your order wondering where your stuff is....

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We ship everywhere in the world except a small handful of countries. We accept international Visa and MasterCard as well as money orders. However money orders must be in US FUNDS or we cannot accept it. If you're unsure of the total of your order in your currency, you can go to http://www.xe.net/ucc/ and get the right info.
